Becoming a Member

Our spiritual family is growing and we love to bring new people into our community. For one to become a member at The Father’s House, the following qualifications must be met:

One

You must be a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. While everyone is welcome to attend services at The Father’s House, membership is reserved for those who have pledged their allegiance to Jesus and called upon Him as Savior.

Two

You must be baptized. Believer’s baptism is a common way to refer to the Scriptural model of being water baptized after you have been saved. Haven’t been baptized yet? No problem. We would love to help you out with that!

Three

You must visit our services for a minimum of 90 days. During this time we want you to see whether or not we seem like a good fit for you and your family. We would want you to be asking if this is a place you could grow; if this is a place where your family would be safe; if these pastors are healthy and representative of the Great Shepherd, Jesus; and if the Lord is leading you to do life with this community.

Four

You must meet with an elder (either at your home or theirs) for a discussion about church background and member expectations. This is also a time for you to ask questions about the church and for an elder to assess where you might find your fit in our family dynamics.

Five

You must agree to our statement of faith. This is a basic outline of Christian beliefs and practices that we adhere to.
